SCREENING OF MINISTERIAL NOMINEES EXERCISE ENTERS THIRD DAY
In a move to ensure early completion of the screening and confirmation of Ministerial Nominees by the Senate, the Chamber, on Friday, July 26, 2019 had continue with the ongoing exercise. The assignment that started at 10:00am lasted two hours and saw two Nominees successfully screened.
Thereafter, the Chamber adjourned the Morning Session to 4pm when the Chamber would reconvene for the Afternoon session. The screening of two more Nominees brought the total number of those screened to 26. The Two Nominees that were through with the exercise include: i) Abubakar Malami – Kebbi State. ii) Hadi Sirika – Katsina State.
