Senate Orders Investigation Into Properties Recovered By Taskforce On Pension Reform
On Thursday, the Senate ordered an investigation into the properties recovered by the presidential Taskforce On Pension Reform.

Following the citation of Order 43 and 52 by senator Emmanuel Paulker, the Senate noted that its ongoing investigation would be incomplete without finding out what happened with the recovered assets by the presidential task force.

The Senate then resolved to mandate the adhoc committee set up for the investigation of the reinstatement of the former pension reform task force boss, Abdulrasheed Maina to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the properties recovered by the task force.

Speaking on the investigation, the senate President stated that "it goes to the root of the issue that people are talking about this kind of large scale corruption in the country".
