HB. 1332 This Bill may be cited as the National Human Rights Commission Act (Amendment) Bill, 2018;, EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM This Bill seeks to amend the National Human Rights Commission Act Cap. N46 LFN 2004 to provide for the establishment of National Hate Crime Office to amongst other things have a toll-free hotline and hate crime information and assistant web portal, provide training and education to local law enforcement to prevent hate crimes, to provide assistance to victims of hate crimes.
