HB. 1225 This Bill may be cited as the Fiscal Responsibility Act (Amendment) Bill, 2017;, EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM;, This Bill seeks to amend the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007 to enhance the powers of the Commission in the performance of its functions under the Act in the enforcement of remittance of revenues into the Consolidated Revenue fund of the Federation and to provide penalties for violation of the provisions of the Act.
